To qualify, the Dealer must hold a Queen high or better. If the Dealer doesn't qualify, the Play bet pushes (you get it back) and the Ante bet pays 1:1 regardless. If both you and the Dealer qualify, the higher hand wins both bets. If you fold, you lose the Ante. The Pair Plus side bet is evaluated independently of the main game result — if your three cards form a Pair or better, it pays out regardless of whether you beat the Dealer or not.
This format keeps the game clean, fast and familiar. A typical round at x777 takes around 45–60 seconds from betting close to result. At that pace you can comfortably play 60–80 hands in an hour, which makes session planning relatively straightforward.
The Pair Plus bet is placed separately from the main game and evaluates your three cards independently. If you have a Pair or better, it pays out based on the Pair Plus pay table — regardless of whether you won or lost the main hand against the Dealer. Teen Patti has an optimal play strategy that mathematically minimises the house edge. The key decision in every round is whether to Play or Fold once you see your cards. The mathematically correct decision is to always Play when you hold Queen-6-4 or better, and to Fold everything below that threshold. Following this simple rule consistently brings the house edge on the Play bet down to around 3.4%.
The Pair Plus bet carries a slightly higher house edge — around 7.3% depending on the pay table — which is why experienced x777 players tend to keep Pair Plus stakes lower relative to their main Play bets. It's a fun bet that creates big-payout potential on rare strong hands, but it shouldn't be the core of your bankroll strategy at x777.
